My Work
Here are a few of the exciting projects I've worked on recently.
I build the technological foundations required to deliver high impact user experiences on web-based platforms. And I am a Full-Stack Developer.
I am an engineer who talks to people. I am a technical translator who works with end-users to
identify their needs and develop their vision, and I communicate those ideas to engineering staff with
technical precision. Formerly an experienced web developer who has built technological foundations for
high-impact web experiences, I am also an expert with Git release management.
My build philosophy: I prefer to program in C# and
JavaScript, using .NET WebAPI and MVC, Angular, and Sass frameworks.
Rounding out my toolbox are Gulp, Node, and Browserify. I
have been known to program in PHP and do a fair amount of Linux
command line scripting as well.
C#, PHP, JavaScript, Ruby, JAVA, VisualBASIC — it's not so much semantics, just syntax.
Consultation, System Analysis and Design, requirements writing, spec generation, project estimation.
I follow a SCRUM-based methodology utilizing sprints to deliver shippable products, and story-writing to create the project backlog.
I have no problem speaking to the database directly, and rather enjoy unlocking the secrets within, to surface key insights to the app user.
It's 2018, of course I build responsive solutions. Foundation6 or Bootstrap4
I've selected and worked with key platforms to deliver on project requirements. Concrete5 for CMS solutions, Shopify for e-commerce.
